Hey

I'm Cam

I’m a content creator, social media manager, and strategist.

In 2026, every business needs a Gen Z social media girl on their team. Why should I be on yours? Well, I am chronically online, so you don’t have to be—which makes me fluent in memes, the latest slang, and pop culture (I’m a firm believer that there is a SpongeBob reference for every situation ever).

One of the best parts of social media is connection. Whether I'm on a personal or professional account, I love fostering digital communities, making new connections, and deepening existing ones. There are so many ways to do that—memes, humor, conversations, countless other means—and I want to find and create the right route for you.

As your designated social media girl, I will seamlessly humanize your business, connect you with your target audience, and build relationships that transcend screens.

My Story

I've had a love and knack for social media management and content creation long before I even knew I could do those things for work. Being a child of the internet, it's no surprise that I ended up thriving in social media professionally. In high school, I learned how to find and speak to my target audience online and go viral—whether it was on One Direction stan Twitter or connecting with fellow arianators on Vine. One of my most memorable experiences of going viral is the day I took the AP literature exam during my senior year of high school. "#APlit" and "#APlitexam" were trending on Twitter. After the test, I tweeted how I felt writing an essay about one of the excerpts my fellow seniors and I read. Within a day, this tweet got nearly 3000 retweets, over 7000 likes, and ended up in the top two spots for Buzzfeed and Seventeen Magazine's "Best of AP Lit Memes" articles. Even as a teenager who hadn't yet received her high school diploma, I knew how and when to connect with my target audience, what kind of content would resonate with them, and how to maximize reach and engagement.

After graduating with a B.S. in business marketing and minors in music and psychology, I worked at the Polynesian Cultural Center—Hawaii’s #1 paid tourist attraction—as a social media manager for over three and a half years. This allowed me to take the skills I gained as a social media-addicted teenager, hone them, and expand them. I learned how to manage a brand’s social media, humanize their digital presence, get creative with a limited budget and resources, and so much more—primarily through organic routes. On top of my work at the Polynesian Cultural Center, I also created my own digital community on Instagram, Humans of the Moana (formerly Tagata Pasifika); created content for Hawaii-actress/writer/director Lindsay Watson's short film, What We Carry; and recently joined Hawaii Film Alliance's social media team.

After amicably leaving the Center, I decided to freelance on my own terms. So here I am, writing about myself, and here you are, reading it (thanks!). I’m on a mission to serve Hawaii’s community digitally and elevate local businesses’ online presence. Let’s work together to make it a reality.
